"To me, this is classic New England autumn.
The stone walls are rare in much of the US, but they're pervasive in the Northeast and the colors please the eye.
I also enjoy the evergreen as a counterpoint to the orange."
Birch Foliage

"There's something surreal about this much orange in a forest.
It's as if it was created by Hollywood for a movie.
But I will attest that I was alone at the time and nary a movie camera was to be seen."
Autumn Hills

"Generally, I tend to avoid including overcast skies in my photos because they lack the interest of a blue sky with puffy, white clouds.
But this scene was such a classic and pastoral autumn vista that I couldn't ignore it.
I especially like the intersecting stone walls against the green grass and colorful leaves."
