"Who would have thought a raging storm would end the day with the sun peeking through to say goodnight before all went dark? Sometimes, like here, I can see these things coming, or at least I suspect their possibility and can be in the right place at the right time. Of course, there are also those other times when I spend a cold lonely hour or two in the middle of nowhere all by myself for no good reason while I await a compelling image that never shows."

"This photo is not as dramatic as some, but it has this shimmer like a polished jewel that always captures my attention and makes me explore further. There's something very alive about it that says 'tomorrow will be even better...'.""

"When I looked at the sky this particular evening, the clouds were all aglow and radiated that rare lavender light I enjoy so much. It didn't last long, but while it did, the whole sky had spatterings of clouds that glowed simultaneously and seemed as if they were all 'plugged-in' and 'turned-on'.""

"Here's another light show I was just lucky to observe as the sun went down centered between two groups of trees on the horizon. I remember thinking the probability of me being there at the right time was unlikely and then being amazed as it went right down the middle like a well placed billiard ball going straight for center-pocket."

"If you're not religious before seeing this print, you might be after. The crepuscular rays radiating from the clouds convey a sense of immense power. And it must truly be so, for I started seeing them many minutes before I arrived at my chosen photo site. I had time to drive there, set up my tripod and camera, and shoot several images while they effortlessly continued to radiate far and wide with no sense of depletion."
