"This photograph takes in a lot of sky.
I did that to capture the sweeping cloud pattern on the left side framing the sun.
This sunset is somewhat unusual in that there are more clouds overhead that were fairly thick and dark.
Also, I often 'zoom in' on a sunset; here, I did the opposite.
Coupled with such a wide view, it draws the viewer to the sun as it drops below the horizon while emanating those 'radial' rays of light."

"This was a "grab-shot" caught while driving one evening.
It's not as colorful as some, but is full of rich orange from an atmosphere with lots of dust and pollen.
It conjures up a feeling of a fire igniting the clouds and spreading across the sky (a little scary now that I think about it...)"
